About the job
You will be responsible for the IT department and all IT and network infrastructure of the total organization and this position reports to the CFO within Batavia Biosciences.
You will report to the CFO.
Your main responsibilities will be
- Ensures that IT and network services are available and operational in the organization.
- Stimulates and supervises the creation of functional and technical design for a new ERP platform, ensures quality and coherence of project requirements.
- Supports CFO in implementing the IT transformation.
- Advises and supports the implementation and further improvement of information management and digital security throughout the entire life cycle of information.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve operational procedures, policies, processes and systems to make further development and growth possible;
- Collaborates with othre team members to advise and identify on IT related matters.
- Leads efficient operation of the team so that prompt modernization and upgrades of IT are performed as needed.
- Oversees projects and assignments within the Information Systems (IS) & Information Technology (IT).
- Represents the IT department in Change Management Process
- Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department; plans ways to execute those goals within the department.
- Leads efficient operation of the team so that prompt modernization and upgrades of IT are performed as needed.
- Develops, implements and controls the IT budget.
Requirements
- Information technology, computer science, information systems or a closely related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in IT operations and managing information technology projects in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in pharma manufacturing including computer systems validation.
- Proficient in ERP and SAP
- Represents the IT department in Change Management Process
- Minimum of 3 years’ of experience in managing employees within an IT environment
- Thorough knowledge of computer systems, security, network and system administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications technologies
- Leadership and decision-making capabilities
- Good in Dutch and English in word and writing.
- Unique project and people management skills
- Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals (vision) and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.
- Self-starter with excellent managerial skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
